Terms of Use

VietLing is a desktop translation tool. You select text in any application, press the Translation Shortcut or click the optional Selection Button, and read the Translation in a Translation Popup beside your pointer. Dictation, Grammar Correction, Dictionary Packages, and Text-to-Speech work the same way: only after you ask.

• An VietLing Account is required before your first provider-backed Translation, together with a one-time First Setup privacy consent.
• Login, Service Tier checks, and checkout depend on the VietLing backend, so those features need an internet connection.
• You are responsible for your account and for the credentials used to access it.

• Free: On-device Translation on the one language route you configure, Dictionary Packages, and rule-based Grammar Correction.
• Paid (shown as Pro): adds machine learning Grammar Correction, additional language routes and premium models, and model version updates. Planned for after launch: connecting your own AI providers through OAuth login, API keys, and on-device agent CLIs.
• Proposed pricing: $4.99 per month, $29.99 per year, or $79 lifetime. Prices are proposed, not final, and may change before launch.
• Every VietLing Account gets one 30-day Pro trial. Paid plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee.

To request a refund under the money-back guarantee, use the channel on the support page (GitHub issues, once the repository is public). For payment disputes, Paddle's buyer support at paddle.net handles purchases it processed.

• On the Paid tier you may connect your own AI providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to whatever you send them.
• A provider receives only the active Selection, and only when you trigger it. VietLing never silently falls back to another provider.
• You are responsible for the provider accounts, OAuth grants, and API keys you connect.

Do not use VietLing or this site for anything unlawful, and do not attempt to disrupt the VietLing backend or access accounts that are not yours.

• Windows 11 x86_64 and Intel macOS are supported end to end.
• Windows ARM64, Apple Silicon, and Ubuntu Xorg are in preview: they may be incomplete and may change.
• Platforms outside that list are unsupported. The Mac App Store build ships with a reduced feature set.
• On Windows and supported Xorg sessions, the optional Selection Button uses global input observation. It is optional and can be turned off in the Options Window.

VietLing keeps no translation history and collects no telemetry. The clipboard is restored after Copy-and-restore, and a Selection is sent to a provider only on your intent. The Privacy Policy describes this in full.

VietLing is pre-release software. Features, Service Tiers, and proposed prices may change before launch. If these terms change, the updated version is posted here with a new date.

VietLing is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. MAVOS Company Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or this site.

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, where MAVOS Company Limited is registered. Disputes arising from these terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Vietnam.
